Kodak Features Proven Solutions for Commercial Printers, Publishers, and Packaging Professionals at drupa 2012

Kodak, delivering one of the broadest, most integrated portfolios in the graphic communications industry, is putting its imaging experience and expertise front and center at drupa 2012 (Hall 5, F09-1). From industry-leading workflow tools and hardware to world-class support and consulting, Kodak helps customers manage and capitalize on the change shaping the industry today.

“Customers tell us that our game-changing digital technologies are exactly what they need in today’s competitive and dynamic environment,” said Antonio M. Perez, Kodak Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “They are highly skilled at anticipating the needs of their clients and have developed differentiated and high-quality services using KODAK Solutions to meet those needs.”

Eight years ago, at drupa 2004, Kodak brought together several companies to form the Graphic Communications Group. In 2008, Kodak introduced Stream Inkjet Technology and launched the game-changing KODAK PROSPER Platform for printing and publishing and the KODAK FLEXCEL NX System for packaging. Now, at drupa 2012, Kodak is showing off its 1,000 fpm KODAK PROSPER 6000XL Press, 2,000 fpm KODAK PROSPER S20 Imprinting System with CMYK, and KODAK FLEXCEL Direct System—just some of the newest solutions that will help customers transform their businesses and stimulate new opportunities.

In addition to the full portfolio of products on display at drupa, Kodak’s customers will tell their stories each day in the K-Zone, a live presentation theater at the center of the stand. Through interviews, panel discussions, and videos, attendees will learn more about the unique services and business-building applications enabled by KODAK Solutions in the commercial print, publishing, and packaging markets.

Kodak also is showcasing its partnerships with more than 40 companies throughout drupa. Partnership activities include providing core technology to vendors to develop new and unique solutions, as well as working with companies that market KODAK Products as part of a total solutions package to their customers.

“Our technology plays a critical role in many of the solutions on display at drupa, driving everything from turnkey publishing systems to innovative packaging and commercial print products,” added Perez. “It really is a hybrid world when it comes to print technology, and Kodak covers everything from offset to digital and the many blended environments in between. Our expanding partnerships allow us to continue to extend our portfolio and leverage the power of our market-leading imaging and materials science.”

Kodak’s stand includes a variety of application stations, where attendees can learn more about how they can grow their businesses with KODAK Solutions. Samples are on display, and experts are on hand to answer questions and provide demonstrations. The stand also includes an area dedicated to the sustainability benefits of the KODAK Product Portfolio.
