Video web inspection system POWERScope 4000
World premiere on LabelExpo!
As the worldwide first manufacturer, BST International offers with POWERScope 4000 digital camera technology also for the entry-level of video web inspection. POWERScope 4000 features a completely digital system design, an intuitive operation concept, very good image quality and user oriented range of functions. An outstanding feature of the new concept of POWERScope 4000 is the extremely simple operation both via touch screen and by means of a rotatable and removable keyboard. This innovation guarantees an optimal adaption to the individual production conditions and greatest possible flexibility also when space at the machine is limited.BST International offers POWERScope 4000 with motorised camera movement (also for wide web applications) and in a manually operated version.
Video web inspection systems PROScan 4000 and SUPER HANDYScan 4000
Both systems are PC-based, are equipped with a digital camera and offer clearly sharp image quality, various zoom options, the space-saving single monitor concept, numerous monitoring functions and extensive equipment. The new product philosophy also includes the unique "Super Lens" function which reduces distortions like the so-called “pincushion“ effect and the effect of unwanted colour fringes (convergence) to a absolute minimum.Both systems offer excellent picture quality. By using a digital 3-chip camera with the highest resolution on the market, PROScan 4000 provides photographic image reproduction with fine details, sharp contrasts and natural colours.
100% real time print defect detection systems SHARK 4000 LEX and SHARK 1000 LEX
SHARK 4000 LEX and SHARK 1000 LEX had been developed for 100% print defect detection on rewinders and narrow web presses.Introduced for the first time on LabelExpo is the Colour Monitoring function.Both systems stand out due to high-performance cameras, the possible combination of 100% defect detection and video web inspection system, inline PDF comparison and numerous practice-oriented hard- and software functions.With the SHARK family BST International offers 100% real time print defect detection for different production requirements. The unique combination of simple handling and reliable defect detection make SHARK4000LEX and SHARK1000LEX essential tools for the quality-orientated production.
Line and contrast sensor CLS Pro 600
This innovative BST development offers unrivalled ease of control for print and web edges as well as printed lines. The system combines colour line camera, high resolution colour display and an intuitive operation. The removable keyboard allows for convenient operation even when the production environment requires installation of the camera head at a point which is hard to get to.Hundreds of installed systems since the product launch on Drupa 2008 are an impressive proof for the excellent performance of CLS Pro 600.
Inline spectral colour measurement system ISM 4000
ISM 4000 by BST International is the first inline system for spectral measurement of colour and colour density on running webs. ISM 4000 combines two systems in one: This innovative development measures absolute colour as well as the colour density simultaneously on a running press. ISM 4000 can be used as stand-alone solution or can be combined with a press control system to control colour in a closed loop.The system is adapted for all printing processes and all press widths. It can be installed to new presses as well as being retrofitted to existing machines.

AR 4000
AR 4000 system is the development for the precise adjusting of the register on offset printing machines and stands out due to the compact design, an intuitive touch screen control and short set-up times. Using AR 4000, adjustment of colour and intermediate registers (front to back side registers) is as dependable as is the setting of additional printing units (e.g., flexo printing units) or tool stations.
