The new video web inspection system POWERScope 4000
As the worldwide first manufacturer, BST International offers with POWERScope 4000 digital camera technology also for the entry-level of video web inspection.
The system features a completely digital system design, an intuitive operation concept, very good image quality and user oriented range of functions.
An outstanding feature of the new concept of POWERScope 4000 is the extremely simple operation both via touch screen and by means of a rotatable and removable keyboard. This innovation guarantees an optimal adaption to the individual production conditions and greatest possible flexibility also when space at the machine is limited.
BST International offers POWERScope 4000 with motorised camera movement (also for wide web applications) and in a manually operated version.
The video web inspection systems PROScan 4000 and SUPER HANDYScan 4000
Both systems are PC-based, are equipped with a digital camera and offer clearly sharp image quality, various zoom options, the space-saving single monitor concept, numerous monitoring functions and extensive equipment.
The new product philosophy also includes the unique "Super Lens" function which reduces distortions like the so-called “pincushion“ effect and the effect of unwanted colour fringes (convergence) to a absolute minimum.
In combination with options like Smart Register (for pre-setting of the register) and Colour Monitoring the user gets a perfectly adapted system for the individual production requirement.
The 100% real time print defect detection system SHARK 4000
SHARK 4000 has been designed for the inspection of larger webs. It is equipped with state of the art colour line camera(s).
The system offers numerous practice-oriented hard- and software functions and detailed, clear and significant defect reports as well as the "Lector" workflow system.
The unique combination of simple handling, reliable defect detection and the combination with BST video web inspection systems make SHARK 4000 an essential tool for the quality-orientated production.
The line and contrast sensor CLS Pro 600
This innovative BST development offers unrivalled ease of control for print and web edges as well as printed lines. The system combines colour line camera, a broad measuring range, high resolution colour display and an intuitive operation.
The removable keyboard allows for convenient operation even when the production environment requires installation of the camera head at a point which is hard to get to. The system is suitable for all substrates.
Hundreds of installed systems since the product launch on Drupa 2008 are an impressive proof for the excellent performance of CLS Pro 600.
Inline spectral colour measurement system ISM 4000
ISM 4000 by BST International is the first inline system for spectral measurement of colour and colour density on running webs.
ISM 4000 combines two systems in one: This innovative development measures absolute colour as well as the colour density simultaneously on a running press. ISM 4000 can be used as stand-alone solution or can be combined with a press control system to control colour in a closed loop.
For users who just need to measure the colour density, BST offers with the IDM 4000 system the right solution also for this production requirement.
