KLÖCKNER PENTAPLAST STARTS-UP NEW PET CAPACITY AT CRUMLIN SITE

The Klöckner Pentaplast Group, the largest European producer of rigid PET films, is pleased to announce that its new PET production capacity has commenced operation at the company’s Crumlin, UK, manufacturing facility. The new line produces high-performance polyester films for food and consumer packaging applications, in particular to support the fast growing UK market. Klöckner Pentaplast invested £3 Mio (€3.4 Mio /$4.4 Mio USD) for the expansion with the support of the Wales Assembly Government (WAG). The expansion included production capacity and a building expansion.
