AB Graphic International Ltd. has announced the sale its first Digicon-lite label converter in ITALY to ADEPRINT S.n.c.

Explaining the reasons behind the purchase, Adeprint stated; "We have been specialising in self-adhesive labels since 1970 and decided to move into digital printing as we saw it as a process that our customers would benefit from in the future. The Digicon-Lite was an element of this investment and enables us to meet the increasing demand for high quality small and medium print runs. We achieve quality control through a specialised slitter rewind system equipped with stroboscope and our production is monitored through sophisticated control equipment to ensure it meets precision and high quality in respect of UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certification."

The Digicon-Lite was developed to meet simple digital label converting needs and was launched at Labelexpo Europe. The system includes 500mm (20in) unwind with automatic tension control, electronic web guide, full rotary flexographic coating station, UV curing, semi-rotary die cutting station, waste matrix removal and slitting. A range of finishing options is available depending on the requirement.
