Edale participated alongside Tianjin G-Sight Technology Co. at this years Sino-Label exhibition (also known as The China International Exhibition on Label Printing Industry) between 7-9 March 2010. Edale understand that China is a growing market in terms of technological capabilities and sheer size, and so by partnering G-Sight were able to explore avenues to build the business into the Far East.
G-Sight, founded in 1999, is the distributor for Edale products in China, and were initially signed up to promote Edale’s security print solutions for scratch cards and RFID.
Sino-Label is one of the largest and influential exhibitions of its kind in China covering a wide spectrum of printing technologies and most importantly, the lucrative and expanding field of label printing, which is a key part of Edale’s business success. G-Sight and Edale used this exhibition to investigate the market for widening the co-operation to cover the sales and marketing of Edale’s leading range of quality flexographic printing machines as well as the Commercial security aspect.
Representing Edale at this event was Managing Director, James Boughton, who commented “We are aware that the market is changing in China and as labour and property costs increase we foresee a developing demand for higher quality and higher productivity flexographic label machinery, and because of this our Edale machines are the perfect product to fit this gap and we expect to increase activity in China in the coming months.”
