PailPac boosts the paint container market in South Africa

Over the last few years, PailPac  has convinced many paint producers in South Africa to switch to plastic containers with in-mould label decoration. The product range with IML decoration option varies, from 1 to 20 litre containers, and is available in a variety of shapes (predominantly conical or cylindrical).
Chemspec, one of the new global players in the premium coating industry, together with PailPac, launched their “DeCo” range for the DIY market (do-it-yourself) and a separate “Professional” range. The DeCo™ Signature Range features 5 premium quality decorative coatings. Each grade has an attractive and specific colour wave in the design.
The smaller volumes are packed in cylindrical containers available in 1, 4 and 5 litre content, and this IML packaging easily withstands the comparison with the metallic cans previously used. The larger volumes are packed in a conical plastic container, with a specialized tamper-proof lid closure system.
