Sacmi at the first edition of Packology 2010

Packology, the pioneering Packaging and Processing Technology fair, set to take place in Rimini from Tuesday 8th to Friday 11th June 2010, is getting ready for its very first edition. This new event will take place every three years and is the result of a partnership between the Italian Union of Automatic Machine Constructors (UCIMA) and Rimini Fiera Spa.

Held in the west wing of the Rimini Fiera district, the fair will occupy eight halls and cover a total area of 60,000 square metres.

At stand 080, hall C3, Sacmi will offer an unbeatable opportunity to get a really close-up look at the best of its innovations for the bottling, food, dairy and pharmaceutical industries.

On this occasion, the Closures & Containers division will be exhibiting the CCM48S compression moulding machine,  which makes 1,200 plastic caps per minute with just 48 moulds.
The CCM48S machine will be equipped with a mould ideal for the production of A28CSD 9 type single-piece HDPE (high density polyethylene) caps.

The Sacmi Managers will illustrate the more general competitive advantages of the  CCM continuous compression moulding, characterised by low consumption, reduced cycle times, low maintenance costs and outstanding flexibility of control, especially as regards extremely short colour changeover times and excellent repeatability of production processes.
Then, of course, there is the extreme practicality of using such compact machines and the possibility of integrating them with other units, such as the innovative CVS in-line quality control vision system.
