Discover how collaboration can bolster your business at the IPIA 2010 Conference

Print service providers will learn how forging effective partnerships can help spur business growth at the Independent Printing Industries Association (IPIA) 2010 Conference. The event is entitled ‘Collaboration – working together towards a common goal’, and will feature a presentation from Kodak and other leading speakers from the print industry. The IPIA 2010 Conference is being staged on 23 June at the Telford Hotel and Golf Resort in Telford, Shropshire.  The IPIA Annual Golf Tournament takes place on 24 June.

The IPIA comprises UK-based printers, print managers, designers and agencies. The conference will underline how a collaborative approach is essential to ensure business growth, and will focus on three key business areas:

· Relationships – how mutually beneficial partnerships create new business opportunities

· IT systems – how a seamless, collaborative IT system can boost business performance

· Marketing communications – how an integrated marketing campaign can boost response rates and brand awareness

Kodak’s presentation is entitled ‘Collaboration speeds up go-to-market and will detail the company’s involvement in the transactional / transpromo, direct marketing, publishing (newspapers, magazines, books, catalogues), labels and packaging sectors, and will also cover the latest developments on the KODAK PROSPER Presses. The presentation will be delivered by Ad Sies, Kodak Regional Business Development Manager, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the print industry.

The seminars are followed by the Annual Awards Black Tie Dinner. The awards recognise innovation and excellence among the IPIA membership, and include the following categories:

· Best trade manufacturer

· Best broker / distributor

· Best associate member

· Individual Personality of the Year

Ad Sies, Business Development Manager Inkjet Printing Solutions, Kodak EAMER, comments: “Kodak places huge emphasis on partnering with its customers, so the collaboration-themed IPIA Conference is an excellent opportunity for us to share the benefits of this approach. The Kodak presentation covers a wide range of sectors, making it relevant to all delegates. We will show that when all partners in the value chain work together, the commercial returns for all involved are significantly greater.”
