Gombau Group has just validated its adhesive GSP13 for the “no label look” labelling of beverages, especially, beer.

This adhesive has been validated for all of the most characteristic conditions that beer bottles undergo during the filling process and additionally, for any other beverage where it is required a film and an adhesive resistant to high temperatures or resistant to washing processes with alkaline products. Adhesive GSP13 has also been tested for pasteurization processes, water immersion, etc. and in all of these cases, results obtained have been excellent.

The products underwent various different conditions. Bottles were even placed in an alkaline bath for 24 hours or 200 consecutive hours inside an ice-bucket, and the adhesion values obtained were still within the typical range of an extrapermament adhesive.

All these tests assured Gombau, with absolute certainty that the label will not be removed from the bottle regardless of the washing method the bottle has undergone.

In addition to these properties, it must be added the advantage of the “no label look” obtained with the adhesive GSP13 which gives an added value to the product due to the excellent look of the bottle as it seems there is no label on it.

Definitively, Gombau group owns a product which is a perfect alternative to label films produced with adhesives that do not reach such high performances and/or a perfect alternative to common glued labels used for beverages.
