UK label converting equipment manufacturer, AB Graphic International has announced the sale of an Omega Digicon Series 2 converting line to Holostik India Ltd., The system was supplied through Creed Engineering Pvt. Ltd., and is complemented by a Fleyevision 100% camera inspection system, SR 330 inspection rewinder and Digicoat treatment unit, all manufactured by AB Graphic International.
Holostik India produces holograms for a wide range of security applications and serves a wide market sector including automotive, agricultural, construction, FMCG, OTC and personal care. Incorporated in 1991 the company played a pioneering role in the introduction of security holograms to India and now has 13 locations in the region. The label converting line will boost production at the company's Radrapur, Northern India location.
Commenting on the installation, Ranesh Bajaj of Creed Engineering said, "The Omega Digicon Series 2 converting line and supporting equipment from A B Graphic International was chosen after much evaluation by the customer. In the end it came down to the ability of the system to handle a wide range of holographic materials at high speed compared to existing flat bed equipment. A key factor in the selection process was the security of having local service and support in the region."
