Demand Grows for Axon Shrink Sleeve and Tamper Band Equipment in Latin America

Axon, a division of Pro Mach and a leading manufacturer of fully automated, heat-shrink labeling, tamper-evident banding, and stretch-sleeving equipment, said today the company is experiencing sustained sales growth throughout Latin America.

"Our highest selling products in Latin America are the iBand entry level tamper-band applicator, the EZ-100 tamper-evident band and shrink-sleeve label applicator, the 200SL high capacity shrink-sleeve label applicator, and ThermoPoint, our latest generation heat-shrink tunnel," said Patty Guthrie, Latin America sales manager. "Brand owners and contract packagers throughout Latin America invest in automation to improve quality and throughput while lowering labor costs on consumer product packaging lines."

Guthrie said that companies also use Axon equipment for anti-counterfeit/anti-tamper banding. Axon details the technical specification of the four product lines on a new Spanish language website Espanol.AxonCorp.com. Axon is developing a Portuguese language website for its Brazilian customers.
