FLEXcon to Demonstrate its Solutions at Labelexpo Americas 2010

FLEXcon will be exhibiting at booth 1311 at Labelexpo Americas 2010. Attendees who stop by will learn firsthand about the company’s pressure-sensitive film solutions for electronics, prime label, pharmaceutical, outdoor power equipment, power tool and security applications. FLEXcon will also be participating in the event’s new Technology Workshop Feature.

By participating in the Technology Workshop Feature, viewers will have a chance to see FLEXcon’s capabilities to meet each printing technology requirement firsthand and become a one-source supplier. According to Labelexpo, the Technology Workshop aims to provide attendees with background on how to set up and run a variety of narrow-web label presses to optimize label print performance and quality, show them how to assess new product and market opportunities and to compare print quality and performance across different conventional and digital printing processes.

This featured area will compare four printing technologies as the same label and packaging jobs are run on different presses: Liquid toner (HP), Dry toner (Xeikon), Inkjet (EFI-Jetrion) and HD Flexo (Nilpeter). FLEXcon, Avery Dennison and UPM Raflatac are supplying the materials for the learning center. FLEXcon’s 2.0 mil hard clear polypropylene film with a high-performance permanent acrylic adhesive will be used with a variety of customized topcoats and liners for a personal care application.

Labelexpo Americas is the largest label converting tradeshow in North America, happening September 14 through 16 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois. With a 30' x 20' booth, FLEXcon will be one of 400 exhibitors. There will be a focus on the company’s product offering for HP Indigo and Jetrion 4000 presses. In addition, FLEXcon will be demonstrating the reflectivity properties of its microprismatic products inside the booth.

Visitors should look for FLEXcon products as they enter and exit the event space. FLEXcon has secured a window sponsorship package at the event, so WINDOWdeco™ 6501 and the two-part window advertising system FLEXmark® 6180/FLEXmount® SELECT™ DF462211 will be used to cover the 150+ feet of windows in the convention hall entrance and lobby.
