VERSAMARK VL-Series Printing Systems showcase – a solid platform for business growth
Based on a flexible, powerful Drop on Demand (DOD) inkjet printing platform, KODAK VERSAMARK VL-Series Printing Systems are equipped to handle complex variable data print applications, such as transactional documents and direct mail. They reduce costs and turnaround times by streamlining the production process through forms replacement – eliminating the two-step process of printing offset forms or master documents and then imprinting variable data offline. With VERSAMARK VL-Series Printing Systems, users can produce a complete color, personalized document in one pass.
The VL2000 targets data centers with volumes of more than 1 million images per month of transactional, promotional and TransPromo documents such as billing, account statements and direct mail solicitations. It operates at maximum production capacity of 1,090 A4 impressions per minute. The VL2000 provides a cost effective solution for data center printers that serve their customers with short runs of high quality documents, as well as longer run transaction and promotional materials. Low operational costs makes this system particularly economical for applications like multipage financial statements, credit card bills and telecommunications invoices.
Kodak will also be showcasing in the Flexo area a KODAK TRENDSETTER NX Platesetter, so delegates can see firsthand its outstanding imaging technology and process stability. While in the Unified Workflow area, there will be two work stations to demonstrate a variety of products, such as KODAK PRINERGY CONNECT Workflow System, KODAK PRINERGY EVO Software, KODAK INSITE Prepress Portal System, KODAK COLORFLOW Software, KODAK PREPS Imposition Software and KODAK PANDORA Step and Repeat Software.
Delegates can also discover how to improve the way they operate by attending the On Demand Russia 2010 education conference, which runs October 18 – 19. Expert speakers will provide insights on key applications, technologies and value-added services that printers can incorporate into their business strategies.Kodak will deliver a keynote presentation at the conference, entitled "Future technology trends and using them to improve your bottom line".
Two tracks will run parallel at the conference.
