Olympus Labels has helped its client achieve outstanding printed results on the re-launch of the M&S Ingredients range.
As specialists in printed labels for the personal care sector, Olympus were set the challenge of reproducing the rich and exotic beauty of the fruit illustrations on a huge range of body, bath, shower, foot and hand products.
Working in partnership with Trowbridge based Acheson & Acheson the team at Olympus were able to translate their design brief into sumptuous labels that has delighted the client.
Featuring stunning images of Pomegranate, Lemon, Rosehip, Pink Grapefruit and Mango, to name but a few, the self-adhesive labels were printed 6 colours UV flexo, including two special spot colours.
The label sets were printed on a white PE substrate with a permanent adhesive and supplied to locations both in the UK and Poland for application on to rigid plastic packaging and flexible laminated tubes.
Olympus has recently invested in servo driven wide web flexo/screen with 9 colour print capability featuring an innovative sleeve system for the plate cylinders.
Customers benefit from faster make ready times and greater efficiencies on longer runs.
Emma De Marco, Acheson & Acheson commented,
"The M&S Ingredients range is inspired by nature with each variant featuring high resolution photo images of the main ingredient.
Quality of reproduction and colour matching was absolutely critical on this project and Olympus was able to successfully achieve this and also machine proof each illustration for our approval prior to moving to full production."
