GIDUE launches the new Digital Flexo™ Combat™ 

Nuova GIDUE S.r.l., a manufacturer of printing and converting machines for the labels and packaging industry, announces the introduction of the Digital Flexo™ technology in the new Combat™ series of presses. 
Register set-up and printing pressures adjustments are fully automated, and eliminate the manual adjustment from the operator. The press start-up and production is managed by the Digital Flexo™ technology based on a combination of “intelligent” vision and servo assisted operations on the press. A proprietary GIDUE high resolution camera (PrintTutor™) constantly “reads” all the printing variables (density, pressure, lateral and length register). Seven servo motors on each print unit automatically set-up and correct all the adjustments.

The press supports the operator in most of the functions of set-up, production and control, and becomes a predictable “digital” instrument, inside a digital workflow. An 8 colours, UV flexo, Digital Flexo™ Combat™, with Double Coupon kit, and fully automated press operations will be displayed during the joint Graficon-GIDUE Open-House, from the 15th to the 17th of March at the Graficon main plant in in Wittenbach, close to St. Gallen, Switzerland. 
The Digital Flexo™ press display the revolutionary GIDUE SnowBall™, the matrix waste stripping system for self adhesive labels, which increases the productivity in comparison to any label press from 30% to 200%, and changes after 30 years the production speed “rules” of the self adhesive industry.
The Graficon-GIDUE Open-House is as an opportunity to introduce to the German, Swiss and Austrian converters some of the most advanced technologies in the label and packaging industry.

Several technology suppliers (Graficon, GIDUE, Rotocontrol, Kocher + Beck, Herma , Siegwerk) are also showing machines, live demonstrations and product introductions.
