In a recent interview, given to the German magazine Etiketten Labels, Mr Ralph Koopmann, President of the German based RAKO Group, emphasizes the tremendous advantages for label printers to coat adhesives and siliconize in-line onto pre-printed webs
in order to create self-adhesive labels.
Mr Koopmann confirms that this technology gives the label printer the flexibility to innovate and at the same time allows for a substantial increase in margins, which are currently strongly affected by the economic crisis. The RAKO group bought this technology from ETI Converting in 2006. By voicing his opinion this way, Mr Koopmann shares the vision of Francois Bayzelon, CEO of ETI Converting.
