Xeikon and PrintSoft sign strategic alliance

PrintSoft and digital printing pioneer Xeikon have announced a global strategic alliance to create a one-stop shop catering to every aspect of the customer correspondence process.

Through the partnership, both Xeikon and PrintSoft will offer integrated solutions designed to meet current market requirements. In particular, the partnership will address the need to send out the right message through the right medium, now a vital element for marketers looking to ensure that campaigns are relevant and targeted.

PrintSoft’s expertise and technology will enable businesses to automate the creation, production and delivery of targeted correspondence, while Xeikon has the solution to quickly output that content in the optimum way on the strongest medium, paper.

Both companies have previously collaborated on a series of successful customer projects, so a strategic alliance marks a natural step, enabling both Xeikon and PrintSoft to extend their market positions.

The partnership also represents a strong proposition for businesses looking to create and produce high-quality printed documents, while maintaining customer relationships through professional and tailored correspondence.

PrintSoft’s accurate formatting and design tools for variable data printing integrate seamlessly into Xeikon’s full-colour production processes, meaning businesses can be confident in the quality of the documents they send out.

“Today’s customers require total solutions” adds Jeroen Van Bauwel, Product Manager Digital Front-End at Xeikon. “We consider it as our task to help customers finding the right tools for their applications, and to make sure that these tools can be integrated with their existing workflows. This new partnership perfectly fits in our Xeikon Aura, a framework we offer our partners, and illustrates our strong believe in this strategy.”

“We’re always looking to ways to improve our customer offering and, after several successful projects together in recent years, a more official collaboration with Xeikon made sense,” said Judith Niederschelp, GM global sales and marketing at PrintSoft. “In addition to enhancing our customer proposition, we see this as a strategic move, marking further expansion of our international partner network.”

"At Xeikon we realize that we have to take a few steps away from print to see how it will evolve in the future. Together with PrintSoft we move closer to the creation of communication. Combining our networks is nothing but a win-win operation!" said Danny Mertens, Business Development Manager Document Printing at Xeikon.

Both Xeikon and PrintSoft agreed their partnership at Hunkeler Innovation Days, which took place in the new Exhibition Hall 2 at the Messeplatz Lucerne, Switzerland from February 14-17, 2011. The two companies will present together again at digi:media on 7-9 April in Düsseldorf, Germany and at the Xeikon Cafè 28 April in Lier, Belgium
