Since purchasing our first Xeikon digital press in 2007 we have invested over £1m in digital technology to ensure that we are the leading edge of producing digital self adhesive labels in the UK.
With a recent upgrade to our GM Mini D Coat finishing unit, the implementation of new working patterns, an upgraded MI system and quotation system we have significantly enhanced our digital capacity in recent months.
The two Xeikon 3030 offer exceptional quality across a wide and varied range of substrates. The Xeikon offer a very environmentally friendly production system, producing no hazardous emissions of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). QAI Toners meet FDA guidelines for indirect and direct contact with dry food substances that contain no surface oil or fat.
With no coating or pre-treatment of material and unbeaten print media flexibility in terms of format, weight & type. The Xeikon digital press represents one of the most cost effective ways of producing short run label requirements. The unique combination of 1200 x 3600dpi and 4 bit variable dot density offers a rich colour depth and subtle contrasts, sharp crisp details. You can also produce micro text and use a clear toner only viewable under a fluorescent light to prevent counterfeiting.
