Gateway Packaging Company was awarded a first place Web Offset Print Award for Excellence by the Web Offset Association in the packaging/specialty products category for their package configuration and printing of Nestlé Purina PetCare Pro Plan Chicken & Rice formula Adult Cat food.

The Nestlé Purina PetCare Pro Plan Chicken & Rice formula Adult Cat food package is a seven color, side gusseted, stand-up pouch printed on polyester film using Gateway Packaging Company’s 50-inch Drent Goebel VSOP web offset printing press.
Gateway Packaging Company previously received a first place Web Offset Print Award in 2009 in the packaging/specialty products category for the printing of a small preformed pouch for gourmet snacks.
The Web Offset Association is a special interest group of Printing Industries of America, and the preeminent organization of the web offset industry. The Web Offset Print Awards showcase the best printing companies in the world and their products. Awards are judged by the Specifications for Newsprint Advertising Production Committee on registration; degree of difficulty, folding, binding or other finishing; and overall craftsmanship.
