Xeikon Café at digi:media 2011

Xeikon will demonstrate how digital print service providers can significantly improve the impact of their client’s marketing campaigns at the first edition of digi:media, taking place at the Messe Düsseldorf in Germany from 7 to 9 April, 2011. At the Xeikon Café - the central theme on Xeikon's stand D40 in hall 6 - printing and communication specialists will learn about the importance of cross-media applications in effective marketing campaigns. They will discover how digital printing can play an essential role in these applications by delivering high-quality, personalized and relevant messages to targeted consumers. Xeikon, together with its new strategic partner PrintSoft, will demonstrate a fully integrated solution with the Xeikon 6000 digital press in a roll-to-roll configuration. Together, the companies will inform visitors how to efficiently implement integrated workflows for their digital printing business.

"Xeikon sees a strong growth in cross-media applications. These can range from simple Web2Print solutions right up to integrated campaigns using various media, and often very sensitive and complex data. Over and over again campaign results have confirmed that printed communication still offers the strongest added value – provided this communication is targeted, personalized and relevant," says Danny Mertens, Business Development Manager Document Printing at Xeikon. “During digi:media 2011, we will present the Xeikon Café, an informative platform aimed at informing both communication and print specialists about innovative printing solutions. Together with PrintSoft, we will demonstrate a complete document life-cycle workflow around a private banking application of which the reports will be printed on the Xeikon 6000."

"Together with Xeikon, we will demonstrate in Düsseldorf how our finance application works in practice. The tool enables companies to create, print and send personal financial reports in an automated process. This is the result of our strategic cooperation which combines our formatting and design solutions with the printing expertise of Xeikon,"' explains Bernd Anders, European Lead Marketing at PrintSoft.

The press is capable of printing on an unbeaten range of substrates and can handle scalable print media widths from 320 mm to 508 mm.
