The Atlantic Zeiser Group, a leading supplier of technology, modules and system solutions for industrial digital printing, will present at interpack 2011 its optimized end-to-end system solution DIGILINE™ Single Product 300 for digital late-stage customization of packages and products within current production processes. At the event the company will demonstrate the versatility of the solution and the possibilities for high-resolution industrial digital printing of variable data on absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces, including 3D packaging. Atlantic Zeiser’s DIGILINE™ Single Product 300 simplifies the late-stage customization process for packages with high-quality print requirements and helps create innovative applications through the integration of different modules in a ‘one-stop’ shop.
Close co-operation with leading brand owners, pharmaceutical and packaging producers spurred the creation of flexible, scalable systems that are application oriented and customer focused. A number of factors explain the increased demand for late-stage package customization, including the need to reduce costs by operating with smaller production quantities to minimize storage capacities; and just-in-time supply with short reaction times, especially with packages marked with variable data, such as barcodes and product ingredient information in different languages. For those applications, variable, fast and high-quality printing with minimal downtime and set-up times is paramount.
The DIGILINE™ system on display at interpack will demonstrate pharma-packaging printing on different substrates, such as cardboard and plastics. Visitors will see high-quality GS1 code printing on blister cardboard. The exhibit will show a broad range of off-the-shelf configurations for different applications, emphasizing the versatility of Atlantic Zeiser’s end-to-end system solutions. The DIGILINE™ Single Product 300 is configured with an OMEGA™ 72HD black printer for vertical printing on packages. This example combines precision, quality and speed. DIGILINE™ Single Product 300 will be shown as a complete integrated system with OMEGA™ print engines and UV LED SMARTCURE 75/400 curing system. The application delivers top-quality printing, and features a resolution of 720dpi at speeds of up to 60 m/min. (In this case, information can be shown from a font of 2 points.)

DIGILINE™ Single Product 300 offers product widths of between 30 and 1050mm. All printer units are available with OMEGA™, DELTA™ and GAMMA™ as integration modules. The integrated MiniController seamlessly manages the production and information flow of the end-to-end system solution, without limiting the modules to be incorporated.
