GAMMA™ 70 combines Atlantic Zeiser’s innovation with Xaar printhead technology to create a powerful solution that includes a UV printer, UV inks, and UV curing capability. GAMMA™ 70 is available in two models: GAMMA™ 70S (standard) and GAMMA™ 70P (premium). The GAMMA™ 70 Series is based on established GAMMA™ printing technology, which has proven very successful in the ID card market. It is the perfect solution for a wide range of applications in the industrial digital printing market, and helps users increase productivity and margins.
The GAMMA™ 70 Series combines Xaar 1001 printheads with Atlantic Zeiser controller and data preparation software. It is ideal for a wide range of markets, including packaging, labeling, commercial print, in-plant printing of consumer goods, security print and card printing.
This high-speed, single-pass UV solution incorporates Xaar 1001 grayscale print heads, and produces stunning quality at a high resolution of 360 dpi, which visually appears to be as high as 1060 dpi. With a print width of 70.5mm (2.8 in), the GAMMA™ 70 can be integrated in-line with sheetfed, web or single-product systems.
The variable drop capability of the industrial-strength Xaar 1001 printhead consistently produces smooth tone graphics, fine detail, sharp text and barcodes to generate great results quickly, cost effectively and reliably. The GAMMA 70 Series is also highly flexible as an industrial-level, full-color marking system. A choice of UV curing systems is also available to suit specific applications. These include Atlantic Zeiser's new eco-friendly SMARTCURE UV LED curing system for temperature-sensitive products. UV LED curing is especially suited to thin materials that can be damaged by heat used in traditional label-based UV curing.
The GAMMA™ 70 Series can operate in a single-pass printing process at a top speed of 24m/minute.
Four models available
The GAMMA™ 70 and GAMMA™ 140 are available in two models for each print width:
- GAMMA™ 70S/140S is the standard model for wet-on-wet printing in the pattern application process
- GAMMA™ 70P/140P is the premium model that is well suited for both pinning and wet-on-wet for sharp texts, barcodes, pictures and fine details and logotypes
The modules are compact in size, which is especially important in space-constrained facilities. The GAMMA™ 70 Series can be installed on a complete web system as a standalone system; leveraged as part of an integration package for OEM integration on a wide range of label machinery; or integrated by end users into existing analog systems.
