The Hawaiian Tropic Bottle Integrated Dispensing System (BIDS) that Graham Packaging patented was first introduced in 2009. In 2010 the entire series was redesigned by Graham with direction from Energizer Personal Care staff. This major redesign focused on improving the efficiency of the capping process. With dedicated development from both Graham and Energizer Personal, a new neck design was agreed upon and implemented in four new tottle molds. The Energizer Hawaiian Tropic BIDS bottle family is currently the only package in the sun care line using the patented BIDS design.
