KODAK NEXPRESS SX Digital Production Color Press to have its UK premier at Print Efficiently 2011 – a joint venture at IFS in London

The new KODAK NEXPRESS SX Digital Production Color Press is to make its UK premiere at Print Efficiently, an industry partner event, taking place in June 2011 at the IFS showrooms in Perivale, NW London. The event has been planned to help businesses in a tough marketplace by demonstrating print efficiencies through integration and provide printers with information and ideas on improving their working processes.  There will be demonstrations on prepress workflow and MIS, platemaking and print (both offset and digital) and a comprehensive suite of finishing equipment.

The new KODAK NEXPRESS SX Digital Production Color Platform with Print Genius offers improved quality and productivity, and has been designed to meet the needs of commercial printers, in-plant printers, and data centers. New features include speeds up to 131 ppm, a longer sheet size (660 mm), smaller ink particle size with the new KODAK NEXPRESS HD Dry Ink, denser black ink, new Fifth Imaging Unit Solution Light Black, and a new matte printing effect option.

 

 

At 660 mm, the long sheet option, which will be on show at 'Print Efficiently', delivers 27% more printable area. The benefits of this longer sheet include reduced waste and increased productivity, and can enable new applications such as six-page brochures, posters, larger dust jackets for books, and a variety of labels.
