Not just a „crate“ but noble brand packaging. In accordance to this motto Delbrouck in Menden, Germany, has developed a new, innovative implementationinmould label technology in cooperation with Alfa brewery in Limburg, the Netherlands.
In principle a bottle crate now can completely be encircled with high quality, scratch resistant inmould labels without a seam.
Especially for this technology a new crate has been developed which has a comfortable radius at the edges in order to permit a perfect bending of the label film.
Based on the lessons learned after launching a new crate for the mineral water industry in 2010 (RheinfelsQuelle) Delbrouck now has set a benchmarkin injection moulding technology.
The investments into this new technology aresignificant, for more than one year Delbrouck was working on the new crate and the technical equipment to guarantee a fast and seamless production.
The design of the label has been created under the supervision of the owner of Alfa brewery, Mr. Meens. At the “edges” the new Alfa crate shows tangy beer splashes over the edges, it communicates freshness and vitality to the consumer. The impression of the crate is modern and premium class. The coloursof the labels have a striking effect at the POSand allow a perfect from the competitors. As a matter of course the new crate obtains all relevant standards among internal and external logistics requirements. With best effort and accuracy all aspects concerning washing, filling, sorting and transportation (stacking) are considered.
Based on this new technology various new prospects in designing bottle crates are open to designers now.
So far brand names could have only be placed on the straight walls of the bottle crates, now brand names, names of the variety etc. can be printed over the edge, diagonally, uprightly, and so forth. Packaging designers now can work on complete new concepts of advertising impacts. The new technology is unlimited in principle.
