Kodak Presents Innovative Technologies for Book Publishing at Interquest

Book printers and publishers attending the 2011 London Digital Book Printing Forum in June will hear Kodak’s exciting vision for delivering 1-1 million books. The presentation will be given by Erwin Busselot, Digital Printing Solutions Director, Kodak, EAMER and the event is due to take place on Wednesday June 22 from 9am to 5pm at The Royal Society, Carlton House Terrace in London.

 

 

Erwin Busselot will present the Kodak vision of Print on Demand book production using both inkjet and litho printing processes. He will enlighten the audience on Kodak’s latest innovative inkjet press technology – the black and white KODAK PROSPER 1000 Press and the latest KODAK PROSPER 5000XL Color Press. “We are presenting in conjunction with our customers at the 2011 London Digital Book Forum,” says Busselot. “Clays has installed our integrated book production line and Kate McFarlan, Managing Director,  will be explaining the advantages that investment in digital  technology has brought to Clays and Clays’ customers, and the possibilities opened up by digital technologies for the publishing market."

 

 

Interquest’s Digital Book Printing Forums have been staged in New York since 2006, and in Paris and Montreal since 2008.  The 2011 seminar in London is designed around recent INTERQUEST research into digital book printing. Leading book printers and publishers, suppliers, influencers and other major players of the book supply chain will attend and share their experiences, present their latest developments, discuss hot topics and challenges and provide their vision of the future. The Kodak presentation at the 2011 Seminar will give an overview of the latest innovations in the company’s book printing solutions and that includes the new KODAK PROSPER 5000XL and 1000 Presses. Erwin Busselot will explain the exciting opportunities available to book printers and publishers. Delegates will have the opportunity to learn about the most cost-effective run lengths when printing books, and gain further insights into why high-volume inkjet can increase accessibility for purchasing books, making it an appealing alternative to e-books.
