Consequently, the company only deploys printing presses from manroland, now totaling twelve. When the company decided to expand, it once again relied on the proven brand and selected a ROLAND 700 HiPrint with double coating module and ultra-violet curing. This press is equipped for use of UV colors and conventional colors. “We not only have to deliver top quality – we also have to do this at the lowest-possible prices,” stresses Virgilio Botella Baraldi.

 

 

The ROLAND 700 is not only best in class in terms of precision. The press comes with QuickChange options that make printers work a lot easier. QuickChange Surface enables fast color changes and reduces the need for cleaning agents. QuickChange Color allows operators to change the ink flow from the central control console, resulting in less waste. QuickChange Job handles job change-overs fully automatically and in minimal time. QuickChange Wash halves the cleaning time for the inking unit. Printers can save all of the relevant settings for repeat orders, thus shortening makeready times and increasing the average production run speed. All in all, the QuickChange options increase printing capacity by up to 30 percent. Another plus: operators can disconnect unused inking units to minimize wear on the printing rollers.
