Novamelt® Adhesives has developed new PSA-hotmelt adhesives for deep freezer label applications. The new Novamelt PS 3040 and PS 3060 are excellent solutions for labels which are applied at very low temperatures-far below the freezing point-and typically used in the food packaging industry. The PS 3040 features an outstanding tack performance in cold conditions down to -4° F (-20°C). The PS 3060 goes down to -15° F (-25°C). Both offer excellent adhesion to a wide range of packaging substrates such as film and cardboard. Both adhesives also boast extremely low face stock penetration.
