Fusion UV Systems, Inc to Add New VP of Business Development

Fusion UV Systems, Inc. Today announced that Dr. Mark Tilley will become Vice President for Business Development.  The announcement was made by David Harbourne, President of Fusion UV Systems. Before joining Fusion, Dr. Tilley was the President and CEO of Unidym, Inc., a California based company that developed electronic applications of carbon-nanotube based inks and films.

 

In making the announcement, David Harbourne said, “We are very pleased that Dr. Tilley will be joining Fusion. His experience, education and commitment to innovation are a perfect match for Fusion. He will make a significant contribution to Fusion’s commitment to be the innovator and creative leader in both our existing and target markets.”  Harbourne added. “Dr. Tilley’s experience in the UV markets and his passion for innovation are precisely the characteristics we have been looking for and we are anxious for him to be on board and contributing to Fusion’s global leadership.”

 

In accepting the position, Dr. Tilley said, “Fusion’s decision to create this new position is precisely the type of opportunity I have been seeking.  Fusion’s goals for sustained growth and global leadership in innovation, using the finest UV products in the world, offer a challenge I was pleased to accept and I cannot wait to get started.”

 

In addition to serving as the CEO of Unidym, Dr. Tilley has held executive level positions at GE Plastics, SDC Coatings, Valspar and DSM. He has extensive experience in the UV curing market especially in the electronics, fiber optic, printing and industrial coatings markets.

Dr. Tilly has a BSc from the University of Manchester an MBA from Pepperdine University and a PhD in Polymers and Coatings from North Dakota University. Dr. Tilley is married with one daughter and currently lives in Southern California.
