On December 1st, 2011, Lecta’s two merchants in the French market, Torraspapel France and Malmenayde merged to create a new company: Torraspapel Malmenayde.
The new merchant is a market leader in France, offering its customers the know-how and strength of a manufacturing group coupled with the service levels of a distributor.
Torraspapel Malmenayde and its regional affiliate Nord Papier specialize in the distribution of coated papers while also boasting a wide range of creative and specialty papers for the graphic and office paper segments, backed by numerous well-known manufacturers and brands.
Torraspapel Malmenayde’s key figures:
- ● Over 1000 graphic and office papers available in stock.
- ● 900 orders per day, with 6-24 hour delivery service in the metropolitan area of Paris (Ile de France) and 24-48 hour service in other regions, through its 3 logistics hubs located in the north of France, near Paris and in the South.
- ● A one-of-a-kind manufacturing service with over 100 suppliers, from newspaper grades to specialty papers, as well as coated and uncoated papers.
The Torraspapel Malmenayde team is comprised of expert professionals with a passion for paper, offering their customers a range and service that will meet all their creative, cost, and environmental needs, while providing them with the expert advice they require.
The new merged group will have yearly sales of approximately 200 million Euros.
Torraspapel Malmenayde is part of the Lecta Group, the second-ranked coated paper manufacturer in Europe with 9 mills: 7 in Spain, 1 in France and 1 in Italy.
