Sidel has received the Best Supplier Award 2011 from Coca-Cola Hellenic for its superior customer services. Coca-Cola Hellenic, one of the biggest bottling companies in the non-alcoholic beverage industry in Russia, presented the award to Sidel on the occasion of its 2011 Best Supplier Award Ceremony in Moscow last month.
“Coca-Cola Hellenic desires a long-term and mutually beneficial collaboration with those suppliers whose business principles and ethics meet international standards, as well as with those who share the company’s approach to the quality of products and services, concern for the environment, social responsibility, and efficient accomplishment of business objectives,” said Yury Sharabakin, Supply Chain Director at Coca-Cola Hellenic Russia.
The best evidence for a successful strategy
The award is based on internal supplier assessment results and has been awarded for the fourth time since 2008. The assessment process is conducted every three months, measuring key performance indicators defined by Coca-Cola Hellenic. The introduction of this business partner recognition scheme to the Russian market is further motivation for suppliers to enhance their performance. At the same time, it gives them the opportunity to strengthen their market position while building their reputation as a reliable business partner. And this is exactly what Sidel has successfully achieved.
“This award is a fantastic recognition for our team in Russia, and the Sidel employees who support them around the world,” says Marina de Barros, Zone Vice President for Eastern & Central Europe and the Middle East. “Ultimately only our customers can tell us whether we achieve customer proximity or not.”
