Xeikon selects Kodak Prinergy Workflow for its ThermoFlexX solution

Xeikon has selected Kodak Prinergy Workflow as the packaging
workflow component of ThermoFlexX, its new flexographic and letterpress platemaking solution. As part of
a global reseller agreement, Xeikon can incorporate the Kodak workflow system as part of its ThermoFlexX
offering, enabling Xeikon to offer a total solution to its customers. With the launch of ThermoFlexX and the
inclusion of the Prinergy Workflow, Xeikon has a unique position being able to offer its customers a total
solution for either digital and or conventional label and packaging printing, further reinforcing the company’s
commitment to the markets.

At drupa 2012, Xeikon will unveil ThermoFlexX, its new product line of Imagers for the making of flexographic
and letterpress printing plates. Offering a production workflow is an essential part of this solution and to
ensure their customers have the best-in-class workflow functionality, Xeikon has selected Kodak Prinergy
Workflow as part of the solution. The market-leading Prinergy Workflow delivers outstanding performance
and reliability, along with best-in-class productivity, connectivity and automation for exceptional efficiency
throughout the packaging production process.

Prinergy Workflow is designed to automate prepress processes from file creation to finished product. The
value of this functionality will be incorporated in Xeikon’s ThermoFlexX portfolio, which includes imposition,
trapping, RIP, screening and final assembly of the 1bit Tiff files. Prinergy Workflow’s advanced rules-based
automation will also be an integral part of the workflow solution.

Xeikon’s worldwide service network has built up significant workflow knowledge and experience through
supporting its own X-800 workflow for digital printing over many years. The same network will now also be
used to support Kodak Prinergy Workflow as part of its ThermoFlexX solution.

Customers visiting the Xeikon booth at drupa 2012 will have the opportunity to see first-hand the new
ThermoFlexX solution working with Kodak Prinergy Workflow. Drupa 2012 taking place in Düsseldorf,
Germany from 3 to 16 May 2012. Xeikon will exhibit in Hall 8AB44.
