Xeikon further strengthens its commitment to the Asia Pacific (ASPAC) region with two senior appointments. Josep Roca takes up the role of ASPAC Sales Area Manager with responsibility for further developing the business of Xeikon’s digital printing solutions – both in the Document Printing and Label & Packaging markets. Josep will also be responsible for the new ThermoFlexX flexo imager lines of business in the region. Joining Josep is Li Yuk Ngong, based in Singapore, who has been appointed as the ASPAC Service Manager. Li is tasked with building up a strong support team to provide the highest level of service and support in the region for the full range of the company’s digital printing solutions and ThermoFlexX flexo imaging solutions.
With over seventeen years of printing industry experience in the Asia Pacific region, Josep brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the team. Much of this experience has been gained as an industry specialist in the ASPAC packaging segment alongside local and international converters providing them with engineering solutions for wide-web flexo printing presses, gravure printing machines, laminators, slitter-rewinders and tailor-made converting machines. Josep holds a Bachelor in Science, an MBA and a Master in Plastics.
Li brings with him 22 years of experience in the servicing and supporting of a wide range of pre-press equipment including drum scanners, flatbed scanners, Computer-to-Film, Computer-to-Plate and flexo Computer-to-Plate plate making. Li holds a Bachelor in Science.
Both Li and Josep will use Singapore as their base of operations to support Xeikon’s customers in the region.
