At the Xeikon manufacturing plant in Lier, Belgium, Jet Europe BV’s Harry Heesen signed the European wide distributor contract for the new range of ThermoFlexX imagers. Xeikon recently announced the launch of its comprehensive ThermoflexX solutions for flexo and letterpress plate imaging.
In its search for knowledgeable and customer focused distribution partners, Xeikon is pleased to be selected as a partner by Jet Europe, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of excellent photopolymer printing plates for flexo, letterpress and dry-offset. Apart from imagers for flexo CtP and a broad range of high quality plate processing machinery for washout and finishing, the Jet portfolio also includes various types of double adhesive mounting tapes and consumables.

Unique benefits to save time and cost
The ThermoFlexX solution comes with some unique benefits. Advanced clamping design allows plates to be mounted directly on to the drum, while uniquely designed vacuum sliders offer the flexibility to use plates of any width. This is highly beneficial to operators as there is no need to cut the plates to fit a dedicated vacuum zone thus allowing the use of cut-off scraps. The ThermoFlexX solution also features ergonomic plate mounting and its hybrid drum offers flexibility of holding plates in place either by vacuum or by magnetics.
