Kodak’s K-Zone at drupa 2012 Features Live Discussions about Industry Trends, New Products, and Inspiring Customer Stories

Visitors attending drupa 2012 will experience a dramatically expanded version of Kodak’s live presentation theater, the K-Zone. As a main event at the Kodak stand (Hall 5, F09-1), the popular K-Zone features dynamic, unscripted discussions with industry experts, product representatives, customers and strategic partners. With more than 60 live sessions scheduled during the trade show, this year’s K-Zone includes interviews with Kodak’s Lighthouse Customers, who will share their successful business strategies in the transition to digital printing. Also scheduled for the K-Zone are panel discussions on commercial, publishing and packaging applications, product presentations, and guest speakers representing some of Kodak’s 40+ partners.

“Attendees at drupa are looking for ways to ultimately grow their bottom line, and they want to make effective use of their time. With the K-Zone, visitors to the Kodak stand will not only be able to learn about Kodak’s extensive portfolio of products, but they will also hear insights and tips from a customer’s perspective, learning more about how this technology can impact a business,” said Chris Payne, Kodak’s Director and Vice President Marketing, Commercial Business. “The K-Zone will showcase an international mix of major brands that collaborate with our customers to bring innovative ideas to life with Kodak’s technology. The forum’s diverse and global lineup is expected to draw steady crowds to the booth throughout the length of the show.”

The K-Zone will spotlight innovative Lighthouse Customers from around the world who have grown their businesses through their relationship with Kodak. During customer sessions, listeners will gain an in-depth look at how publishing, packaging, commercial and transaction businesses successfully increased their profitability by offering new capabilities and services, producing unique applications, and improving operational efficiencies.

Lighthouse Customers will share real-world examples of work with end-users from across global markets. The K-Zone will also screen video shorts that illustrate these inspirational stories of entrepreneurship, sustainability, emerging market growth and partnership. Lighthouse Customer videos are currently available for viewing onwww.kodak.com/go/drupa.

The K-Zone’s market-focused discussions will include insightful commentary from a panel of industry experts, trade media, and customers. Each group will approach a topic ranging from high-volume digital book publishing to packaging to commercial printing. “The Future of Workflow,” “Unlock the Potential of Your Prepress System,” and “Make Your Flexo Printing Impactful and Efficient” are among the topics included on the K-Zone agenda.

From the KODAK PROSPER Press Platform and KODAK NEXPRESS Press to KODAK SONORA XP Plates and KODAK PRINERGY Workflow, the K-Zone will also feature multiple product presentations to give visitors an overview of Kodak’s latest products and services available at drupa 2012.
