Pink Lady® Valentine’s Bonanza with a unique twist

Leading Edge Labels a successful Label and Packaging company based in Kent, were recently  approached by Coregeo®, a fresh produce brand marketing specialist, to produce a uniquely numbered label for the ‘WIN A FIAT 500’ campaign for Pink Lady®.


The campaign involving a four week on pack promotion will lead to one lucky person winning a Pink Lady® branded Fiat 500, plus over 200 runners up prizes which includes: Apple iPods, Nikon Cameras, Victoria Secrets Hoodies and much more! The competition launched on the 15th January 2012 and will be on pack until mid February.


Leading Edge Labels helped recommend the most suitable mechanic for this promotion, and from receipt of artwork, produced the labels in a short window to fit in with on-pack timings requested across the major multiples.


Each dry peel label produced by Leading Edge Labels incorporated a unique code (URN) which prompts the user to visit: Consumers entering the unique code from their label will find out what prizes they have won.

Managed through their Promotional Division, Leading Edge not only project managed and printed the dry peel labels but also helped co-ordinate allocation and logistics of delivery to over 27 sites throughout the UK and Europe all within a short lead time.  For uniquely numbered promotions stringent checks and reporting are conducted throughout the print production and despatch process and, despite short lead-times for this project, these were closely adhered to for Pink Lady®, to ensure accountability for every unique number on printed labels placed on pack.
