Alphasonics: First Melanie Trio Goes To India

Chroma Print Pvt. Ltd of India has purchased the very first Melanie Trio System from Alphasonics (UCS) Ltd. Designed specifically for the narrow web flexographic printer, the bench-top system comprises an anilox cleaning station, flexo plate cleaning station and a rinse tank.

David Jones, Managing Director of Alphasonics said: “Chroma have purchased the first system of its kind and we're delighted that we're able to announce it at Drupa. “We've developed the new additions to the range in order to provide quality and flexibility at a reasonable cost.”

This system was purchased via Alphasonics' narrow web partner in India, Royal Coat. Mr. Sunil N. Talpade, Director of the company also commented on the purchase. “Chroma have showed they're dedicated to production quality by choosing Alphasonics as their choice for press room cleaning. I'm extremely pleased to have supplied the first Trio worldwide and we're working on many more potential sales at the show.”

Officially launched at this year's Drupa exhibition, the 'Trio' is an addition to the already existing 'Melanie' range. These benchtop cleaning units utilise Alphasonics' Alphasound dual frequency ultrasonic technology and are designed as budget cleaning systems. The 'Melanie Duo' has also been launched at the show, which offers either plate or anilox cleaning, with a rinsing station.

Alphasonics can be found at Drupa in Hall 6, Stand 62-C where the Melanie range is on show along with their Blanket Wash Module Cleaning Systems for Offset. Also, their brand ultrasonic development, 'Betasound' technology, designed for printers utilising HD flexo is being shown for the first time.
