Videojet Technologies Inc., a world-leading manufacturer of coding, printing and laser marking products, fluids and accessories for the product identification industry, will be showcasing both new and enhanced solutions designed to offer fast and effective product coding on its E10 stand at PPMA, Birmingham NEC, September 25th to 27th 2012.
“PPMA is an exciting venue for us, and we look forward to displaying our product integrity solutions that offer greater traceability and peace of mind in packaging production,” says Videojet UK Managing Director Ian Watson. “We will be unveiling some new additions that address emerging market demands, the details of which will remain under wraps until the show. In addition, we will be demonstrating enhancements to existing products that will help our clients improve their service offerings.”
Videojet will be highlighting the 1000 series range of small character continuous inkjet printers at the show. These products are ideal for packaging and product coding requirements in the food, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical and personal care industries.
For applications requiring printing in two locations on the same product or on multiple lanes on a web application, visitors to the Videojet stand will be able to experience the all-new Videojet 1610 Dual Head continuous inkjet printer, ideal for the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, tobacco and building materials markets.
Also on display will be:
- Videojet 1710 inkjet printer with pigment ink combining high-contrast codes with low maintenance printing. It is designed for applications that require easily readable variable data codes on dark or difficult-to-mark materials.
- Videojet’s 2300 series of large character marking machines, combining high-resolution printing with a simple user interface
- The easy-to-use Videojet 2120, focused on the application of twin line alphanumeric codes onto a variety of products or packages.
- Videojet 7210/7310, low-maintenance, high-quality fibre laser systems for coding on metals, plastics and other hard-to-mark materials
- The easy to use Videojet 3320 high quality CO2 laser marking system for production of multi-line text, machine-readable codes and high quality graphics on a wide range of materials.
Videojet’s portfolio is differentiated by its ease of use and its optional remote user interface based on the intuitive CLARiTY operating system. CLARiTY makes it easy to change settings and to select messages in hard-to-access areas, such as on an elevated conveyor or in space-constrained production environments. The large colour touch screen display features easy-to-learn icon-based controls, full preview and a WYSIWYG display.
“We have chosen to show a full range of new and enhanced inkjet, laser and thermal inkjet solutions to demonstrate how we are helping clients address the changing demands in their increasingly complex production environments,” adds Watson. “In this highly competitive and dynamic market, clients are being asked to meet tighter turnaround times with greater integrity assurance and traceability. Our broad range of solutions addresses just about any need and configuration requirement. Our solutions also support the growing demand for shorter, more complex runs and greater diversification. This enables clients to further expand their capabilities to position themselves for growth, fully supported by our efficient and cost-effective market leading technology.”
Coding and marking specialists Sunala and Interactive Coding Equipment (ICE) will also be available on the stand to extend the range of coding applications on offer.
