Kodak sets to return to the 2012 Packaging Innovations Show in London

Kodak is set to deliver a strong business message at the 2012 Packaging Innovations Show on 4th and 5th October. Visitors to this year's event at the Business Design Centre in London will find the Kodak team centrally placed on Stand H11 demonstrating and discussing the company's focus on its customers' business needs and the highly interdependent relationships between packaging production and the brand owner. The company will show samples from its KODAK FLEXCEL NX Digital Flexographic System, which offers customers the ability to develop business through innovation.

Kodak will take part in the EasyFairs KeyNote LearnShops with its customer Pulse Creative. Pulse has been working closely with jkr Global, Mondi (Wheatley) Packaging and Kodak and their joint client the Birds Eye Iglo Group to understand each individual's requirements within the overall 'concept to consumer' process. The panel session in the EasyFairs Theatre will focus on the challenges of costs and technical applications making it possible to offer the best of both worlds - increasing packaging quality whilst reducing overall packaging cost.

Kodak will also take part in the Packaging News programme of speakers to inspire a creative approach, answer burning technical questions or simply promote a healthy debate. Key issues will be discussed in an open forum while members of Kodak’s team will expand on technology and applications to deepen product understanding. Debates will be recorded and added to Kodak’s social media sites and Kodak’s bloggers and tweeters will ensure up to the moment updates are available.

Jonathan Moore concludes, “We will be giving visitors an idea of what can be achieved using Kodak’s extensive packaging portfolio through an array of live customer work. “We promise not to talk about the how and why of production. Instead we will focus on how we can offer our customers demonstrable ‘added-value’ and how we really can do more with packaging."
