Wednesday, August 1, 2012

FLEXcon, an innovator in adhesive coating and laminating, today announced availability of its new Polyester Differential Release Liner, which offers improved adhesive wet-out compared to paper liners, at a competitive price point. The new liner eliminates the need for a second release liner, cutting down on waste and can be used for transfer tapes and double-coated product constructions that use solvent acrylic adhesives.
“We’re always looking for ways to better meet our customers’ needs by improving product quality, while keeping price-points in mind,” said William Sullivan, Vice President, Performance Products, FLEXcon. “This new liner promotes converting ease and efficiency and is priced to be competitive with paper liners in the marketplace.”
Other benefits of Differential Polyester Release Liner include:

  • 2 mil polyester film is strong enough to conform to tight angles
  • Can be considered recyclable in some geographic areas
