Martyn Bell has been promoted to the post of Production Manager at Newman Labelling Systems, a leading supplier of specialist pharmaceutical labelling systems.
A long standing employee at Newman, Martyn joined the company in 1984, working his way up from a machine fitter through to Supervisor and now Production Manager for this world leading manufacturer of specialised labelling machines for the pharmaceutical industry.
John Clayton, Managing Director, comments on Martyn's recent promotion: "With Martyn's length of service at Newman he clearly has extensive experience of our machinery and the demanding environment in which we work. We have consistently received positive feedback from customers on his service; he has a superb understanding of their requirements and how to meet them."
In addition to Martyn's existing remit of overseeing Newman's machine production and testing, Martyn will now also be responsible for planning of component parts and machine assembly, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is controlled to Newman's strict guidelines.
Commenting on his length of service at Newman and his promotion, Martyn said: "I like the variety of working at Newman. Although we have set machine models, each one comes with numerous options and is adapted to meet a customer's exact requirements. It's both interesting and a challenge."
