Xeikon Signs Marketing & Referral Agreement with Tronics

Xeikon, an innovator in digital color printing technology, announced today that the company has signed a marketing and referral agreement with Tronics, a manufacturer and distributor of efficient, cost-effective, high-tech machines that apply professional labeling, decorating, coding and identification marking to almost any container.

Tronics has a long standing history in the field of heat transfer label applicators; it was in the forefront of developing this market. Until recently, heat transfer labels were only produced by means of flexo or gravure. Today, with the need for faster turnaround and shorter run length, there has been a demand for digital printing. Labelexpo Americas attendees will be able to witness Xeikon demonstrating heat transfer label applications at the Package Printing Zone.

By adding Tronics to the Xeikon Aura Partner Network, Xeikon is expanding its Heat Transfer Label Suite. Tronics joins Moss srl, as an Aura partner within the Heat Transfer Label Suite. By using the strengths of this network, Xeikon and Tronics customers can leverage integrated solutions more efficiently.

“Plastic containers such as tubes, cartridges and buckets can be decorated by heat transfer labels as an alternative to direct print and IML (in-mould). In North America, heat transfer labels is a dominate decoration process. Producing these labels digitally provides a fast turnaround solution, with high quality decoration.” said Filip Weymans, Director Segment Marketing and Business Development Labels and Packaging at Xeikon. “With Tronics’ expansive experience in this industry, coupled with the Xeikon Heat Transfer Label Suite, label printers can deliver labels with unparalleled image quality while increasing their profit margins.”

“Our customers expect robust, reliable machinery that works, day-in and day-out,” said Frank Floriano, Labeling Director of Tronics. “By partnering with Xeikon, our customers can expand their product offerings to tap into new markets and increase revenue. Plus, both Xeikon and Tronics customers will gain new flexibility and adaptability that the print market – and customers – demand.”
