Labelexpo India 2012 will have many new products and innovations being shown for the very first time

Electro Optic previews Gold-Line extra sharp magnetic dies
Electro Optic (stall D34) will show its Gold-Line extra sharp magnetic dies at Labelexpo India 2012. Thin liner materials such as PE or PET with dimensions of 20µ and less demand the highest standards of precision from all the components involved in the cutting process. Gold-Line extra sharp is designed to face this challenge. Best height parallelism due to the patented back grinding system and optimized cutting ability ensure best possible cutting results on ultra-thin liner materials. Also on show will be Dura-Line and Dura-Line Special, which due to an extremely resistant surface coating provide long life performance and are suitable for materials like Tyvek, laminations and cutting through abrasive colors.

 

 

Esko shows latest innovations for tag and label printers
Esko (stall C21) will showcase its latest portfolio of integrated solutions specifically targeted at tag and label printers. Next to demos of Suite 12, Esko will also highlight its leadership in advanced digital flexo solutions. Suite 12 is an array of software solutions addressing label and tag artwork, management, design and prepress, color management, workflow automation and process integration. With Suite 12, Esko focuses on adding value for the user by introducing new productivity and efficiency benefits. This is done by closely integrating all flagship tools and engines, by adding rich 3D functionality for a holistic experience, and by enabling mobile collaboration and web-based packaging management.

 

 

GSE Dispensing offers lean, automated approach to ink logistics
GSE Dispensing (stall F16) will show how its automated ink logistics systems, flexo proofing systems and management software packages contribute to a waste-free, smoothly running ink workflow, under the (th)ink lean theme. GSE’s Colorsat® modular gravimetric ink dispensing units have been proven to eliminate waste and improve yields by up to 30%, dispensing the exact amount needed for each job to precise color requirements and calculate excess ‘press return’ inks into new recipes. The Colorsat units are suited for preparing colors for all flexo, gravure and screen label and packaging printing situations. The units cater for water, solvent and UV-based ink sets and dispense volumes from less than 5 kg (11 lbs) to over 200kg (440 lbs).

 

 

Fife introduces powerful web guide for global applications
Maxcess (stall I28), a global leader in innovative products and services for the web handling industry, has just announced the release of the FIFE-500 Web Guiding System. The compact new system features a color touch screen display similar to those seen in popular smart phone devices and intuitive operation via multiple languages or icons that are easy to understand. Central to the FIFE-500 is a color touch screen display that’s easy to learn and operate. The FIFE-500 supports 13 languages, 90 degree rotation of the screen, and intuitive icon-based operation. The system also features an advanced processor and an optional splice table to further improve efficiency during roll changes.

 

 

Monotech introduces JETSCI-K Series
Monotech (stall D25) announces the addition of the JETSCI-K Series of high speed inkjet printing systems under its own brand for printing variable data in full color and monochrome. Systems designed are suitable to print on most substrates including paper, plastic cards, labels, PET, blister (aluminium foils) and synthetic foils. The systems can be configured with a wide choice of inks including UV, water based, invisible, clear, varnish, white, and inks for food packaging. Systems can be integrated on any web (roll to roll) or sheet transport.

 

 

PRATI displays SUN TE330 slitter/rewinder
PRATI (stall D10) will be showcasing the SUN series servo slitter inspection rewinder runs inspection, correction, slitting, numbering and rewinding operations for self-adhesive labels and is particularly suited to applications in the cosmetics, food & beverage and healthcare sectors. Available in 4 models: Classic, Linerless, Booklet and Plus, it can work up to 430 mm width label webs combining high speed and exceptional quality results; what is more the machine perfectly aligns even transparent materials. On the occasion of Labelexpo India PRATI is going to showcase the Classic model fitted with the new Yaskawa brushless motor. This is a high performance motor that can boast of reduced energy consumption.

 

 

Latest label decoration products showcased by Spinks and RUCO
RUCO Druckfarben (stall K20), being represented by Spinks India, will be showcasing its comprehensive range of products for the decoration of labels with a high potential to demand attention. The main focus will be on RUCO’s “3 in 1” system for combination printing. Consisting of UVFX/MA flexographic ink series, 985UV/NV inks for high-speed rotary screen printing and series 960UV printing lacquers, this system meet the demand of today’s label industry. The heavily pigmented and highly reactive UVFX/MA flexographic inks are ITX- and silicone-free.

 

 

TRESU Group presents enhanced ancillaries for narrow- and mid-web applications
TRESU Group (stall K18), a global supplier of flexo presses and ancillaries for the flexo and offset printing market, will show developments in its chamber doctor blade systems for narrow- and mid-web. It will exhibit at the stand of its recently appointed agency, Capital Graphic Supplies (New Delhi). The new agency offers a fast, accredited and direct source of TRESU Ancillary consumable products and systems at competitive prices, as well as technical support and expertise. The TRESU FlexiPrint Reservoir Chamber Doctor Blade System is a show highlight for narrow-web water- and UV-flexo presses. It eliminates splashing, requires no ink pump and facilitates fast, effortless changeover.

 

 

New Unilux LED-Series 2000 stroboscopic inspection lights
Unilux (stall D5) has put the old and new into a single stroboscopic inspection light with the introduction of its new LED-Series 2000 family of LED strobes. The new lights combine the operational and environmental benefits of LED lights with the power of traditional xenon-based strobes plus a few more operational benefits. The new LED-Series 2000 family comes with a new product-naming convention that corresponds to the coverage area (in millimeters) 50cm (20in.) from the light to the inspection area. The new LED-Series2000-500, for example, which replaces the LED 5X2, will emit 2000 lux of illumination on a 500mm width from a distance of 20 in. This is five times more light than the LED 5X2 produces.

 

Webtech to launch new generation flexo
WEBTECH Engineering (P) Ltd (stall A25), a leading manufacturer of printing and converting machines in India, is launching its new generation flexo machine FLEXOMASTER at Labelexpo India 2012.
