Constantia Flexibles, headquartered in Vienna, will invest in a new rotogravure printing machine at its Russian subsidiary, Constantia Kuban, based in Timashevsk. The new machine is designed for high quality printing on film and also on thin aluminum foil, which will further increase flexibility in responding to customer requirements and will put Constantia Kuban in the forefront of printing technology in the flexible packaging market. This investment underlines Constantia Flexibles’ commitment to developing its Russian subsidiary, which has been part of our Group for seven years, and had sales of EUR 34 million in 2011.

The Russian market is a key market for Constantia Flexibles and we continue to seek opportunities to further expand in this market both organically and by acquisition. Constantia Kuban remains, and will remain the cornerstone of our business in Russia and continues to successfully develop in this growing market. Constantia Flexibles will support the growth of Constantia Kuban to take advantage of the attractive potentials available in this market.
