They have been growing so fast that the owners, Richard and Leanne Jones, have recently installed a second Nilpeter FB-2500 8-colour UV-flexo press to meet the growing need for more capacity.
Like its predecessor, the new Nilpeter 250 mm wide press is fully modular and can be updated and expanded as Advanced Labels’ requirements grow. This flexo press is perfect for handling all label production, from basic blank runs to full-colour labels. It runs at a maximum web speed of 228 m/min. and can incorporate cold foiling, laminating and UV-varnishing inline. It is also retrofitted with a turner bar for reverse printing.
“Since the beginning, we have worked really hard to build our business based on top product quality and service”, states Richard Jones. “Opportunities exist, even in the most unlikely places, and we’ve secured some exciting contracts by keeping our ears to the ground and putting the customer first. We didn’t expect to be investing in a new Nilpeter press quite so quickly, so we are more than happy with our progress so far".

Advanced Labels has been impressed by CSM Machine Sales, Nilpeter’s representative in South Africa, most especially with their swift service and technical support. “The transition to two fully-operational printing machines has been painless, and I believe we have now the right tools to realise our long-term goals", Richard Jones explains.
"Our aim is now to continue our growth path and pursue fresh opportunities in both the local and export markets", remarks Richard. "We’ve flourished from a small team of three to twelve full-time factory staff members and the introduction of the new Nilpeter press gives us the flexibility to increase our capacity and efficiencies and carry out maintenance tasks quickly and easily without disrupting the production process", he concludes.
