Helping flexographic printing operations maximize efficiency, deliver high-quality results and enhance shelf impact are the aims of Kodak’s webinar series “Do More with Less: Innovative Technologies Drive Efficiency and Impact in Flexo Printing.”
It consists of two webinars and will provide attendees with key insights about how they can do more for their business and clients with the help of Kodak's latest technologies.
The first webinar “Do More With Less: Flexible Automation for the Flexo Workflow” on March 6 at 4 p.m. CET will be led by Michael Tedesco, Worldwide Product Manager, Packaging Workflow and Michael Bialko, Worldwide Product Development, Product Specialist and Evangelist. They will detail how prepress workflow automation has revolutionized commercial printing and discuss how it will benefit the packaging world.
Highlighted, too, will be the next-generation automation capabilities of KODAK PRINERGY POWERPACK Workflow. A live demo will showcase how easy it is to create specific powerful, custom rules to automate basic and advanced production workflow tasks and drive efficiencies throughout the operation.
Bialko comments: “By increasing workflow automation, packaging printers can increase job volume without adding headcount, improve production efficiencies and drive down prepress costs.”
Paul Lancelle, Senior Business Development Manager, Packaging Technical Applications and Emma Schlotthauer, Marketing Manager, Packaging Solutions, will present the second seminar “Do More With 4: Expanded Gamut Printing for Flexo” on March 12 at 3 p.m. CET. They will discuss how the KODAK FLEXCEL NX System can deliver a wider color gamut than previously possible with flexo printing thanks to Kodak’s unique and award-winning high definition flexo plate technology. Also outlined will be the outstanding stability, graphics quality and on-press performance possible.
The efficiency and cost saving potential of combining new plate technology with the KODAK SPOTLESS Flexographic Solution will also be presented. Easy-to-use, the intuitive solution achieves amazing results by replacing spot colors with accurate recipes for four-color process printing.
“As the SPOTLESS Flexographic Solution allows the replacement of more spot colors with four-color process printing than previously possible with flexography, printers can now enjoy better print stability, higher print densities and a wider color gamut,” concludes Schlotthauer.
