Jan Hilbrink has been appointed as Managing Director for Loparex -- Europe, reporting to Michael Apperson, CEO. For the past 18 months, Jan has been leading the construction and start-up of Loparex's greenfield manufacturing site in Thailand.
The recently-completed first phase of the 50,000 square meter facility will produce solvent-based and solvent-free release liners to serve Loparex's fastest-growing markets in South East Asia and throughout the pan-Asian markets.
Prior to leading the Thailand start-up project, Jan previously served as Managing Director for Loparex -- Europe. ‘Jan has done an excellent job in leading the construction and successful start-up of our new flagship plant in Thailand’, states Apperson. ‘We are excited to have Jan back in Apeldoorn to again lead our European business and to drive organic growth – he knows the local markets and customers and has a proven track record of success.’ Apperson adds: ‘Jan will build upon his recent experiences in Thailand to leverage the recently-doubled capacity in Apeldoorn to drive new growth in Europe, and with our global account base.’ Jan will relocate back to The Netherlands in April.
