FLEXcon’s Ken Koldan Named Executive Director of Development and Strategy of the Global Association for AIM

FLEXcon, an innovator in adhesive coating and laminating, today announced Ken Koldan, FLEXcon’s New Business Development Manager, has been selected as the Executive Director of Development and Strategy for Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility (AIM) Global and elected to the North America Board of Directors of the Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility (AIM) North America (NA).

The AIM Global Inc. is the premier source of industry support for the automatic identification and data capture industry, delivering access to information, education, advocacy, standards, and connecting customers with cutting-edge solution providers in the global market place. Koldan will serve a two year term on the six-member AIM North America Board of Directors that oversees the strategic direction, financial health, policies, procedures, vision, and mission of AIM North America. Koldan will collaboratively work with the current NA board which includes executives from CDO Technologies, Evanhoe & Associates, SecureRF, Terso Solutions, and Woelco Labeling Solutions.

Koldan was named the AIM North America Professional of the Year in 2012 for his outstanding contributions to automatic identification and mobility industry community, served as Chairperson of the AIM Unique Device Identification (UDI) committee for the inaugural 2012 term, served as the AIM North America Chairperson for the Board of Directors for the interim 2013 term, and served as Chairman of The UID Supplier Alliance for 2010 AIM North America term.


Koldan joined FLEXcon in 2008 and focuses on sharing FLEXcon’s expertise and developing product solutions to design engineers, brand owners, and economic buyers within the asset visibility, electronics, air conditioning, heating and refrigeration (AHR), security, and appliance markets. He holds a PMP Certification from Program Management Iinstitute (PMI), an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
