Overnight Labels in New York recently bought their 3rd Nilpeter press. On top of the company’s FB-3300s and FB-4200s, they have now invested in a Nilpeter 10-colour FA-6 with soft tension lamination.
Founder and President of Overnight Labels, Don Earl, says his challenge is to make the highest quality labels and packaging possible. Don Earl got into the label business 21 years ago by installing a thermal transfer printer in his basement. Today, Overnight Labels produces shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, as well as pressure and non-pressure sensitive labels and serves a wide range of industries, such as nutraceuticals, foods, beverages, cosmetics, and household products.
The new press will be dedicated to producing high quality mid-web shrink sleeves. “We wished to expand into the mid-web segment, and the Nilpeter FA-6 fitted the bill perfectly”, Don Earl explains. And he continues, “Our trademark is our quality and responsiveness, so we rely 100% on our presses’ performance. Our Nilpeter presses haven’t let us down and with the new FA, we are especially impressed with the high quality printing and the precise register”.
